VIOL 3 – Let’s get started!

On May 2, VIOL 3 finally went live. After working with our customers and partners to set up timber transactions in VIOL 3 through our timber accounting system, Efficture Virke, the first VIOL 3 deliveries and measurements were received on May 13. TimberTrack, Efficture Virke, and Viol 3 are now seamlessly integrated, providing a solid foundation for continued support and efficiency improvements for our customers.

VIOL is Biometria’s industry-wide system for business operations and up-to-date information on completed deliveries throughout the entire chain from forest to industry. All measurements are collected and processed here. VIOL includes various features that facilitate reporting and administration for everyone in the forestry industry, including the Vis information system, timber orders, transport reporting, and price calculations.

The transition to VIOL 3 represents a significant modernization of Biometria’s system to support digital transformation and increase efficiency throughout the entire timber supply chain, from forest to industry. With the new platform, the fundamentals of, for example, product range structure, locations, and pricing have been redesigned.
